FUND RAISING UPDATE: So far Light Ripple Enterprises has raised 6 cents per foot or $1,100 for Mkombozi and the children of Tanzania. This is the start of what may be a long journey to complete the goal of $1/foot. But just as my trek up Kilimanjaro will be done one step at a time, this fund raising effort will continue until reaching the peak.
All funds raised (unless you specify differently) will be donated to Mkombozi - (meaning "liberator" or "emancipator" in Swahili) - the leading child-focused agency in Tanzania's Kilimanjaro and Arusha regions, using education, research, advocacy, and outreach to help vulnerable children and youth to grow in mind, body and spirit.
